In Memory of Founder and Visionary Richard A. Gaumer, Jr. (1945-2006)
Richard was a true visionary and entrepreneur.

He started in the consulting industry in 1979 and in 1984 founded his own firm, Resource Management Group, which specialized in reengineering, process improvement, and cost reduction consulting for manufacturing and distribution concerns throughout the northeastern United States.
Did he know he was starting an industry in 1994 when he, Richard A. Gaumer, Jr., picked up the telephone in his office in Westford, MA and started calling management consulting companies to offer his services to them? No, Richard didn’t know what was to become of his idea. But it didn’t surprise him. The entrepreneurial spirit in his psyche assumed success. The challenge was exciting and everything was possible.
His goal was to introduce sales and marketing departments to his new system of lead generation, which is outsourcing face-to-face meetings to Senior Level Communications, Inc. His sales style was similar to his person. He spoke conversationally, in an even-toned manner. There was no push, no hurry to his style. It was two peers having a pleasant, informative business conversation. He was a wonderful listener. When he spoke, you were intrigued to pay attention.
Quality and service to his clients were his priorities. Professionlism and attention to detail were the
mantra by which the staff at SLC worked and lived.
SLC has been headquartered in Westford, MA for the past 16 years. Our clients have been provided a steady stream of face-to-face meetings with senior executives in their targeted markets for the purpose of developing new business.
