Our Story

SLC started in the early 90s with a single client in the living room of Richard and Dorothy Gaumer and a good idea: by outsourcing cold calling, lead generation, and appointment setting, sales and business development executives could free up time to focus on their core business and close more sales. Since Richard founded the appointment setting company in 1994, he and Dorothy and the SLC team have helped a global client base increase their face time with decision makers, improve the quality of lead generation, and accelerate sales growth.

When asked what makes SLC different, it’s easy to say we provide a niche service, and we’re very good at it. But the truth is, it’s our employees that make us successful. What’s more, SLC offers something that is practically nonexistent at many larger companies today: the Gaumers maintain a personal connection with each and every employee, which in turn fosters a very supportive environment.
