An Insurance Audit Consulting Firm...
Now that SLC has been working with us for a few months it is timely for us to report on our progress and experiences so far. I must admit that when we started working with you folks I was skeptical that you would be able to arrange meetings with senior people in such a focused market, but in just 2 days your meeting developer got me into a high level insurance firm we had been targeting (the week before Christmas, when no one wants to talk), so from then on I was a convert.
He has scheduled about 25 meetings with CFOs in our target market, and each prospect has been receptive to at least hearing our message. I don't know how he does it, but he seems to have a real knack for hitting our prospects' hot buttons. All of the meetings have been cordial and at a minimum the prospects have all been curious about what we can offer. We have been averaging about 10 meetings every 6 weeks or so, which is about the maximum that I can handle.
From the 25 meetings I think we have generated 4 solid prospects, of which 2 could close as early as next week. While this may not sound like a huge number of accounts, each one will generate more than $1 million in revenue so this a big deal for us. In addition, we actually had one prospect ready to sign a contract when we discovered that the regulations in FL preclude us from making money there; so in some sense we have already made one sale as a result of his work.
On a personal note, your MDE is a pleasure to work with; very efficient and highly productive. I can't imagine how we could have gotten more than a handful of visits without his help. As you know, January and February are the busiest months for insurance CFOs and in spite of that he has been able to get meetings set up. I can't wait to see what will happen now that "end of year" pressure is off.
